Apple’s Financials Buck The Trend
Apple have reported a rather impressive $1.61bn profit in the last three months of 2008. They reported that between Oct-Dec 2008, they saw revenues of $10.17bn - the first time they’ve broken the $10bn threshold - and up 2% from the same time last year.
These figures included $2.6bn worth of iPhone sales, which isn’t bad for a phone which doesn’t yet support MMS, only recently added 3G support and doesn’t allow users to run whatever software they want to.
But at least it looks good, right?
On a lighter note…
It seems that the specs on the white 13″ MacBook have been upgraded to include an extra 1GB of memory, and a substantially better graphics card in the form of an nVidia Geforce 9400M. There has, naturally, been a price increase, but only by £15 or so.
In my opinion, it’s a small price to pay for the increased spec. It’s still a MacBook though.

But will their finances be so good this year, now that Steve Jobs has made a swift exit!!!!
