Rumours of Samsung pulling forward the Galaxy Note 5 launch have been heating up over the last few weeks and it’s looking likely a new version of the Galaxy S6 Edge will launch too.
Samsung is rumoured to be releasing the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, a large screen version of the innovatively designed Galaxy S6 Edge that launched back at MWC in March.
The phone is set to boast a 5.7-inch screen, much like the Galaxy Note 5, but this time it’ll have curved edges on the screen and new photos show exactly what it’s set to look like.
Edging closer
The images come from German Samsung fansite All About Samsung and it reports the images are of a dummy handset sent to a store.
As for the specs the source doesn’t share much information but we’ve already heard word it’ll likely include the octa-core Exynos 7420 chipset made by Samsung itself.
The rumoured Galaxy S6 Edge+ launch date is nearing – we’ve heard whispers it’ll take place on August 12 in New York – and we’ve got our fingers crossed we’ll see this and the Galaxy Note 5 soon.
